With a concept of using music influential to myself (Frank Oceans- Pyramids), with its sounds, words and imagery they create in my mind, I created this gem. The eye of Horus seen in Egyptian culture represents royal power, good health and protection. And if abused or misused may result in a self inflicting storm. The golden eye is centered (ironically at the eye of a storm?) in a beautiful, whimsical realm in tones of purples and iridescent violets (the color of royalty). I hope someone finds a connection to this culture, these colors, its significance, its meaning to me, or just finds one to themselves in some way. The gold frame is included. It is painted on an un-primed canvas and stretched to the corners.
